I put the pictures from riding the other day up even though they are blurry. There still pretty cool!

Fun riding...

We had fun out at the barn tonight.... The pictures didn't turn out, they all came out blurry, I think one of the settings was off or something. Oh well next time!

This is the best one of them all....Me and Danny comin' round the corner......lol......weeeeeee fun!

Lindsay had her first 'real' lesson from me tonight......she rode with out anyone holding on to Danny......she was all on her own and did just great! He really was an awesome boy tonight!

Disappointing MWHF

Wow...everyone I know either didn't bother to go or the ones that did go were very disappointed in it. They said the shows were long and boring, a lot of the vendors that we like to buy from weren't even there this year and the horses all looked skinny and crappy.

Now I'm glad I didn't bother to waste the money just to go.

Awesome day riding...

Wow was today ever fun...I totally relaxed and all my stress and issues just went away the second I got inside the pasture and could get close enough to Danny to be able to smell him. I know it's weird, I love the smell of my horse though. The girls just had a blast too. Very nice day...one of the better days I've had in a long time. I no longer feel bad about not going to Midwest Horse Fair after spending the day with Danny....I would rather do that any day. I also have a trail riding date next wed with Allie...woohoo...will see how that goes...hehe. I did a little practice run with Danny today and walked him around outside the arena and far enough away from the other horses to see how he would react and he did great...it didn't even bother him a bit.

Oh and it was such a beautiful day......I wish it was like this everyday.

I'm starting to get bummed out....

Midwest Horse Fair is this weekend....I made my choice of not going because I really don't need anything horse related and I wanted to save some money. But now I wanna goooooooo!!!!!! Yeah I know, I'm just whinning.....I feel like the whole world is gonna be there and I'm not. Like I'm gonna miss out on everything...the shows....the mustangs....the stallion barn....seeing everyone I know.....the awesome horses.......the awesome kettle corn...the sales.........omg I think I'm gonna cry!!! Last year was so fun! The girls just had a blast. We saw so many people we knew....it was just awesome. Ok getting bummed again!

NOTA club meeting ...

Nothing too overly exciting went on, but we did make a decision on what theme were going with for the fair decorations...I would say what it is, but as you know we won for soooo many years that everyone wants to try to copy us or outdo us, so it's top secret. This decision is a big deal though because we normally don't get this far this soon in the year.

Let's see what else....paid decoration dues,..signed up for hours at the next show....discussed the upcoming shows and open rides.....that's about it.

Oh yeah...we turned in our Commitment Letters too. <--this is important to be able to show at fair!

Well we got a new quarterback....we'll see how this one works out! I know better than to get too excited over it!
