PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE always wear a helmet when riding your horses. This is a very sad thing that happened that may have been prevented if she were wearing a helmet. Our prayers go out to her family. http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=599937

I read about this some where. It's so sad. I invested in a helmet for myself and wear it all the time now. Or at least when I'm on the horse! ha!
I actually know these people and know the horse. Freak accident to say the least. Helmet probably wouldnt have saved her. Sad. Very sad.
