Hey 'GUESS WHAT' ? ? ?

It's really cold out again! Yeah....Just thought I would share the wonderful news! Grrrrrrrrrrrr I am so wanting summer!!!! Shorts....tank tops.....running around the yard barefoot....swimming pools.....waterparks......jogging.....bike riding.......long walks with the dog.....riding outdoors in a t-shirt....popsicles....cookouts (mmmmmm BBQ chicken on the grill and sliced potatoes with tons of butter and onions...the best meal ever).....campfires......smores......a cold beer and a good book on the front porch.....a nice rain storm.....the smell of lilacs in the air and fresh tomato plants....eating green beans right out of the garden.....Oh I can't wait for summer to get here!!!! Ok, I think cabin fever is starting to set in! hehe Sometimes I wonder why I ever moved back here from Florida.....oh yeah it was the BIG nasty bugs.......heat you can't even breathe in.....sand-spurs in the grass.....salt in the air.......god only knows whats in the ocean...you would be amazed.....(but of course we still swam/surfed in it) Oh to be a 'no fear' teenager again. Oh yeah and there's those wonderful gators too! They were always fun to run into! Well...I think I'm done venting/dreaming now! I feel a little better........but the best part is winter is more than half over already.......yeah....woohoo.......bring on summer!

4H Update....Lindsay Canning Project

Lindsay and I canning the tomatoes we grew in the garden....and there are also pictures of me and the girls picking strawberries that we then turned into strawberry jam later that day. (It turned out really really good...the kids won't let me buy it at the store anymore)

It's Spring.......j/k I wish!!!

Geez you would think it was spring outside today....it was actually really nice......now this weather I can handle.....................although I still would like that hot tub and fireplace!

OMG.....It's flippin' cold outside!

Ok I've had enough of our beautiful Wisconsin winter weather.......It's like -30 with the wind chill....and it's going to get worse........I don't like being this cold! I would give just about anything to have a hottub and a fireplace right now!!!!

Poor Danny is gonna freeze....thank goodness he's in a barn overnight...I can't imagine how all the horses are doing in this cold weather that are on pasture board.

Inner thoughts...bad night

Well it's been a pretty bad day/night once again...those of you that know how Jim's health is know that it's been bad and getting worse.....well he consistently is in pain to the point of where he's throwing up from it....he hardly ever eats anything because it causes him pain for days on end and he doesn't (which I don't either) trust the doctors here but then he won't call any other doctors and will definitely not go into the hospital because he thinks/knows he will never come back out and will end up dying there. I'm getting to a point that I'm having a really hard time dealing with all this...I have always known he has bad health issues and I have known for the last 16 years that this stuff was coming and I really thought I was/would be prepared for it but it's actually a lot harder than I ever thought it would be......I think a lot of it has to do with his attitude towards it all...he won't get any help because he's so afraid but I just can't help him any more than I have been and it's just not enough...he can't sleep at night which in turn keeps me awake all night trying to help him with his pain and at least try to comfort him somehow..........it's really starting to wear on me, which sounds really selfish but it's my real feelings........I guess sometimes it just helps to put it all down on paper here in a sense........ok done venting now......I feel a little better I think......I really hate this stuff sometimes I wonder why I'm being punished like this......I really shouldn't feel this way....how terrible is that, what a bad selfish person I am......when he's actually the one being punished with all these health issues!

Ok.....dear wonderful daughter Chelsea claims I have a really purdy smile in this picture......I, on the other hand, think I look like a dork....hehe.
Now mind you this is Christmas morning at 6 am. so no shower, no makeup, no nothing, I haven't even had a full cup of coffee yet .....that's a scary thought in itself. Just rolled out of bed. So let's see what the rest of the world thinks.

New Year's Day...

Well New Year's Day turned out better than New Year's Eve anyway. Spent most of the day cleaning.....introduced Dakota to the vacuum cleaner...lol...that was fun...after a while he didn't mind it. After supper Lindsay and I decided we wanted to try and see if Dakota could/would pull her while she was on the sled in the back yard. We had fun....fell down a lot and I'm starting to wonder if I got frost bite on my butt cheeks (shouldn't have been out literally sitting in the snow with sweatpants on...hehe) Dakota was getting pretty confused because we don't have a harness for him. He caught on after about 10 minutes. We then started to just sled down the little hill we have in the back yard for Dakota to sit up on.....we had a lot of fun! Dakota would chase us up and down the little hill....Lindsay had fun using Dakota as a rescue dog........Mom would go down the hill...crash....then fake hurt....Lindsay and Dakota would come find me and fix me all up. I'm getting pretty sick of all this snow but it sure was fun to play in it for a while tonight.

Big New Year's Eve partier.....NOT....lol....

Oh yeah I'm a big partier tonight....well have a good new years eve everyone....I am taking my bored butt to bed!!!!! Ahhhh....I'm too old for New Years partying......LOL!
